Does anyone know if these two heads are identical (minus the valve train). MY buddy bought a JRSC for his freshly built top-bottom GSR....only to find out the SC is for a type R head. And/or does anyone know of or have one laying around...Type R (B16 head if will work) thanx suckas |

I didn't get a chance to look around yet, Tom. I'll get back to you. |

they're remotely identical.... type r has a little more of an agressive port and valve job, along with the said valve train. the charger will bolt up to both just fine ... i DO have a type r head that is in fact just laying around ... but i'm not willing to part with it if worst comes to worst, my buddy has an obd1 b16 long block w/ ecu he's getting rid of for like 800 bucks i think... maybe less, i'm not sure. if you're interested i can ask and/or give you his number. |
