I built an LS Vtec in march of 2008 using a b18b1 bottom end and a b18c1 top end. Until now I have had no problems with anything. Then last saturday night i was crusing in 5th gear and it just suddenly lacked pewer. It still runs but it misses real bad. I took the valve cover off and checked the cams and timing and everything seems fine. Does anyone have any suggestions? |

I would check distributor cap, rotor, and plug wires. Just to rule that out too. |

I did a compression check today and cylinders 1,3,4 are fine and cylinder 2 had no compression what so ever. |

I'm doing some research on valvetrain. Does anyone have any suggestions or recomendations on which company to go with? Right now I'm looking into crower and skunk2. |

Why not just do a Type R valvetrain? |
