I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

k24 swap is for the win. If something happened to my K20 I would swap to a K24 in a heartbeat. A mildly built one as well. I know someone mentioned someone building a frank and not having to change the pistons in the K24. I know you can do that but you can't run full 50° of cam advance because you'll put the valves into the piston. Which sucks, so thats why you rebuild it with different pistons. Make sure if you do source a K24, you pick up a RBC or a RBB manifold for it. Those have big, long runners that will help fill that thing full of air and make TQ.

Also you need to remeber that K20 and K24 engines have different oil pump/pick-up systems, Chain, chain guides, etc..when you swap a K20 head onto a K24 Block you need to swap the K20 Pump/pick-up assy. and use the chain, chain guides from the K20. Back in 03' at a shop i used to work at we did this swap without knowing about the pump/pick-up(this combo was still relativly new, not much info on it) and yes it ran for a day or so than the bottom-end went kaput due to starvation.

as previously stated K20a.org or Honda-tech.com is a great resource for this swap.
