I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

Fuel cut off or just disconnect the battery every time you go inside!

I have also seen a guy keep a boot on his car whenever it is parked, even in the garage!

I would definitely do a fuel cutoff. I'm going to install one come spring.

Why not a quick release steering wheel? Turn the wheels to one side and take the wheel in the house. That way they can't tow it either.

Sucks that you have to think of this stuff now that your car is gone.

get an alarm if you are usually close to the car... obviously it's not the best method, but if it'd be sure to go off, and you'd hear it....

but if someone wants the car bad enough, unfortunately it will be gone...

fuel shutoff is not fool-proof either. it's called a tow-truck or similar method. when my brother's hatch got stolen a couple months back, it had no engine in it (engine was stolen about a month before), but the car was tied in the front to a truck and pushed from the rear with another stolen vehicle. apparently the thieves must not have known it had no motor at the time, because it was obvious they had tried to hotwire it.
