ah yes...someone with an education that works as a dealer mechanic is really the bulk of h-t's member base.

i came here because i figured the majority of people who stuck to the "jdm" car culture were more about actually working on the cars. not jsut talking about their dope mad tyte new hood and random shit like that.

write a review on the initial quality of the parts/how high quality the welds appear or how pleased you were with the shipping process a certain company you obtained the parts through was. a pointless thread is still a pointless thread.

if you really ahve a problem with what i am saying have john ban me.

it's a public forum and i am entitled to my 1st amendment rights. it is up to his discretion if he wants to host what i am saying.

ok, i should rephrase what i stated about h-t's member base...your RESPONSE is the type that is to be expected from 80% of people.

you're right, a majority of the people here are hooked in the 'jdm scene,' me being one of them. when i've gotten parts in the past i'm sure i've taken pics of them before or after install just because i was happy...as ashley is. you're one of, if not the first person, to express such frustration with the lack of...whatever it is you want more of.

i'm sure eventually there will be a thread with the complete build-up, possibly some reviews, but something that will be sufficient enough for viewers like you. it's just a shame that you won't be around long enough, wanting to leave thejdm and all.

i offered you an alternative to what it seems like you feel, i never said i had a problem with what you were or are saying...get that straight.

who ever said you weren't entitled to your 1st amendment right? man, you've got things way mixed up. do more reading and less bickering, it'll do us all some good.

please don't think i am coming at people and spitting in their faces. i am saying please make there be more content.

the stuff she has bought is nice, i am sure she is excited about getting it and all, but say more than: look what ups dropped off.

the parts came from somewhere...other people are looking to source similar parts. say who you got it through, whether or not you were happy with their service, were they timely?

there is more to be said than "here's a pic"

guys on h-t do the pic thread thing all the time...it just falls off the board since no one looks at it. this is a smaller site so the people who come here actually read most of what is posted. make the post more informative.

door panels on a kitchen table is not that informative.

and in turn for being a small site, we can share more intimate moments (i.e. a door panel on the kitchen table) and not have to worry about negative responses...at least this was the case until recently.

door panels on the kitchen table tells me that she's that much closer to completing her car. i guess if you'd know what she's put into it you'd understand...then again, who knows.

geez you guys really take offense to a little critisizm. for the tight knit "family" you claim to be your sure are harsh to your users who just seem to be trying to make the site a little better. I'm not saying his point is right, but he has an opinion which is a good thing. you can't all just pat each other on the back all the time. calm down people, calm down. no need for cruel words. ahem (blaster)

bucky, if you look closely, i took no offense to what kyle was saying. i merely offered a suggestion to him and tried to sort out what was going on, nothing more.

question 1: how is criticizing amy making the site "a little better?"
question 2: what's wrong with patting each other on the back, especially when one gets new parts? do you not enjoy buying new things and showing them off to your friends? and i don't mean in a VAIN way.

if i mod'd this section and not engine tech, this thread would be locked...koto?

Note: Great way to ruin a thread. She was just excited to get the parts. That's it. Criticizing the thread starter and arguing about how H-T, jdmc, etc. all have worthwhile threads in a thread that simply showed how excited someone was to get some parts is no way to better a site.

Take it to PM or the bamboo fighting pit if you want to fight about it.
