Ok, first off, Ash....forget all these boost addicts and what they are talking about. Between you and eric you already have a boosted Civic, why do you need two? Since it will be a toy car, go find a high mileage B18C1 and do a full build up on it. No point in dumping $3500 to a low mileage C1 or $4500-$5000 on a C5 when you're gonna gut the motor and replace everything anyways(well, at least I hope you are if this is ur drag car). You gotta stay all motor.....I need some competition here in the St.L.

I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

So five of my friend have H22a civics that are daily driven with no problems. If you are going to state something, Please check the facts behind them.civicex2g wrote: H22.. eh.. not my fav unless ur going 100% drag racing and never wanna street the car...
92-96 H22a will not handle that boost because of the sleeves. But 97+ can handle a lot of boost on stock motor. So, Stephen Papadakis turbo h22a (Fwd civic) did not last long . My friend sprayed 150 shot (wet) on a STOCK H22a (95 motor). They are not picky, they are built in a different way then B and D series (92-96).civicex2g wrote:Im just not a big fan of the H22... never heard them lasting too long under boost.. even after building them up.. they are really picky bitches.
Not true, Dave Newman (aka Newman on HT) took his h22a civic to the track and beat some B18c5 civics and a owner of a B18c5 civic drove his car and later swaped in a H22a into his civic. There is a lot more h22a civics that auto-x and road racing that have no problems with the "extra wieght".fone wrote: h22's are heavy motors gonna have to change the front suspension. i wouldnt do the h22
I am not trying to make fun of you OR try to act like a know-it-all but myths have to stop. If you were hurt by my post, then I am sorry. If you have any questions. PLEASE ask me. If I do not know the answer, I have friends that will.
EDIT: I am not "h22a swap are the best swap" kind of person. I like all swaps and I think that you should go with the swap YOU WANT. But if I had a EG, it will be K20a R all the way.

So, this citimortgage place......where's it at? How much do you make? Hours? Wonder if it beats selling cell phones.
