I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. Weight Reduction
Does anyone know some easy cheap weight reduction tips for the 01 civic? I have a CF hood and that's about it. Just something to do I guess. Don't really care if it gets done.

Depends how far you want to go, there are tons of things you can do for weight reduction thats free, but not all are the safest.
-Remove sound deadening, tar on floor under carpet and in trunk, mat behind dash on inner firewall
-Remove extra wiring, components like your speakers, head unit, HVAC, etc and all the wiring, etc that goes with them
-Removing/Cutting/Shaving bumper beams
-Removing seats, carpet, plastic panels, door panels (replace with aluminum sheets)
-Removing windows mechanisms making windows permanently up (big weight there)
