I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

I was in civilian clothes Baker! I guess I look too young to be perm party. But yeah if I was in uniform I would've just pointed to the combat patch. Barrett when're you coming home?

delivery - basically, a drill sergeant thought I was a student at the base and not stationed there.

Oh... Well that does happen alot. I got that once while eatin in the courtyard. But I just laughed at him and said I was permanent party. He asked me all these tough questions about my NCO's ,like who is the CSM of 116th... I said my boss CSM Brown. He felt kinda dumb after that.

Me? Home? NEVVARRRR!Not as funny now that I know your a civs. I need to drill my branch and try to get Gordon, I don't want to stay at fucking Bliss for the next 2 years (when my life cycle ends). Which will actually be longer assuming our next deployment date doesn't change.

Well, I don't think he would have asked me for the badge if I had been in uniform, it'd be kinda obvious I was PP (unit patch, "combat" patch, flash on beret..)

Most of the reason is I just look young, NCOs are always thinking I'm around 19, asking me where so-and-so lives in the Barracks. Then I have to remind them I'm married, homeowner, have a kid, etc. When I went to Qatar the ISE NCOIC was like "Hey in Qatar the drinking age is 18 so you can drink there!" ROFL.
