I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

trying to clean up my pc,

so far i have:

adaware
spybot s and s
avg anti virus

anybody know any others that are free and work well?

yeah its called get a mac.

windows is teh suck. im in the same boat. saving for my new 20 or 24" imac. cant decide how much i wanna spend. ;)

i use a lot of CAD programs that only work on a pc, hence why i dont have a mac

ah bummer. well anyways back on topic. the 3 u mentioned are the 3 i use. and thats pretty sad that u actually need more then 3 to stay a lil protected from this crap.

Those are the 3 progs I use too. I haven't personally been able to find any other free ones that work that well. I think microsoft actually has their own prog you can download from their site, that handles spyware. I used a beta version of it about a year or 2 ago, and it seemed to work pretty well (found a couple that adaware and spybot missed). Just make sure to clear out your temp internet files every day or 2, and that should cut down quite a bit. And occasionally delete your cookies as well, but you'll have to put your usernames and passwords in sites again. Other than that, check out www.download.com and look at the reviews on some other ones.

apples are not anybetter as pc's. they actually crash harder when they do get spyware on them and then burn.


hijackthis is a good program, but you can do a lot of damage if you dont know what you are doing
