On my way home from work my mom called me to tell me she has a biopsy on Thursday to remove a mass that they found in a recent mammogram that wasn't there last year. We're crossing our fingers that it's not cancer considering that her mother (my grandmother of course) died of breast cancer before my parents were married. My grandfather on that side died of cancer too. My mom's 52 and has been through hell her whole life. She doesn't need this right now, but we're hoping that it's just some irregular cells. |
