I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

X-mas

Post by CivicSpoon » December 23, 2005

Fuk christmas! And fuck the mall! I spent a total of an hour and 15 minutes in stop and go traffic, only to spend 15 minutes in the mall to pick up 2 gifts. Getting into the mall I could see smoke billowing out from under my hood, the cause? My fucking clutch. I figured it'd be fine once I let it cool down and got on the highway...wrong. I put it in gear, gas it, and nothing but hesitation until it finally decides to catch.

So fuck x-mas and all the companies who have commercialized it. And fuck the malls for not having better control over their own traffic. At least I got to hear pink floyd twice in a row to help calm me down a bit.

I wish I could have shopped earlier. But I just got a part time job last week, and litterally just had enough $ to start shopping today. I still have 3 gifts left to buy, but I'll wait 'til tomorrow and try going to a different mall (that's pretty much down the street from me).

LOL, yeah right. My lazy, cigarette smoking ass would have a heart attack if I did that. Maybe I exaggerated a bit of how close it is, it's about a mile and a half from me. But it is technically still 2 streets away. I would just buy the last 3 people gift cards, but 2 of them live in Tenn (never get to see them so I don't know what places are around there too) and the other is my grandmother (who doesn't go out shopping much).

Damn...all this for a holiday that's supposed to be about some dude who I'm not even sure ever really existed. Think I'm just going to go buy a 6-pack and forget about it 'til morning.

I hate the general public at Christmas. I shop first thing in the morning and leave by 11am. Otherwise it's suicide.
