How come people bitch about cops so much. But when they are at their time of need. They get called. And asked to respond. Next time you need them. Don't use their service. Sorry I'm really not trying to start a fight about this. And it is just my opinion. It sucks yes that you got three tickets. And yes there are jerkwad cops out there. But not all are.

Ummm...no. I was there and they were dicks. Doctor H's roommate was driving his GLI, and they claimed they pulled us over because of a loud exhaust. The exhaust is loud when he gets on it, but with all the cops swarming around that area; he kept it in high gear (which the exhaust was as loud as a stock one). Basically it was literally racial profiling, we were 3 white guys on the West side. One cop asked the driver what we were doing in that area, while the other asked me (I was in the passenger seat). We were straight up with them; we were dropping off a car that was being worked on. So when they got back from running everyone's ID's (except mine because I left it in my car), they pulled the driver out and gave him a bunch of shit. The cop who talked to me said that I told him a different story than the driver did, which was complete and utter bullshit, and said that was grounds to pull us all out and search everyone. They were straight up being assholes and just giving us a hassle. And while we were waiting for the cops to get done running the shit, a car drove by with it's passenger door OPEN and a kid sticking his leg out. I shit you not, the kid had his entire leg out of the door with his father screaming at him to get back in the car. Let's see...pulling a bunch of people over for a "loud exhaust" or pulling over some jackass who can't get his stupid kid to stay safely in the car?

You 2 must be lucky to have cool cops in your area. Around here; maybe 1 in 10 cops are decent human beings, the rest are cocky assholes with nothing better to do than to harass people.

i agree, but unfortunately there are some asshead cops. my father is a cop himself, and he does work with some rookies or dead beats looking for their next victim. but or world would be different without them.

hope that all works out well with your tickets, go to court and see what you can work out. sometimes cops are a little more less abrasive outside of the job. maybe give the writting officier a call and see if he can help you out some.

^^^ Good call, my brother is a cop and my brother in-law is a cop and my sister is a dispatcher for our county so i take it personal when people talk bad on cops yes like he said there are some ashole cops but not all. and no offense but if there is a group of cars driving around with loud exhaust cops probobly think youare going to go and race.

Personally I see what you all are saying. I agree that there are cops out there that do a good job and aren't assholes, but they are few and far between (at least around here). The cops in this area like to pull over import cars as well. They see a loud bike, truck or domestic car; and they look the other way. If they see an import car with a louder than stock (even slightly louder), they will pull them over. But his car was seriously not loud at the time at all, between the time the other car was dropped off and when we were pulled over. It wasn't even as loud as my '94 CX was when I had a 3" SRI on it (which I took off because I was sick of being followed by cops every night). Not trying to start an argument or anything but; just because a relative or friend is a cop, it doesn't mean they are a good cop. Some people act differently towards their friends or family member than they do to others at work. I've worked with people who were complete assholes on the job, but I'd hang out with them after work as friends and they were cool as hell. But someone who can't keep the same temperment on and off the job, should not be working as law enforcement

Oh, it was only 1 car; the other car already got dropped off to the owner when this happened. If both were there it would have made more sense.
