Im bored at the moment at work but i figured I share a few pics of what I play with while im not under a car.

Im a turbine engineer for Siemens. I work mostly on steam turbines for nuclear and coal fired power plants, occasionally work on gas turbines. I manage specialty welding, rotor blade installation and repair and field machining projects

hes some random rotor pictures.

By day I am a station manager for US Airways. I manage all below the wing operations for Orange County airport (SNA). By day-off I am a photographer/blogger ^^

Currently I am looking for employment since I am moving in less than a month, but I also do QA at a place that makes nutritional drinks, nacho cheeses, and chili.

Im a safety specialist for a construction company in their Heavy Industrial Division....I stand around and watch other people work all day. Recently fishished up on a project where the company built a Coke Production plant which will supply an AK Steel plant near by with coke for their steel making process. It is a 100 oven plant, each oven holds 50 tons of coal. Approximately 3.6 million bricks were laid in the construction of the ovens. It is a self sustaining facility utilizing heat and steam from the ovens to power a steam tubine that produces all the power to energize the site.

Here is a picture taken shortly after the start of operation.
