I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

= gay.
i cant understand why people are so obsessed with this garbage and pretty much run or let there life be run via facebook.
who gives a fuck about what you are doing right now. if people cared they would call or text you to see what u are doing if they wanted to hang out with you, and dont give me no BS that you use it to talk to friends u havent talked to in awhile. if you were good friends you wouldnt of lost touch from the get go, only exception would be someone in the military.
thejdm.com 100 times better then facebook. PERIOD. /rant /win

I use facebook/myspace to keep in contact with my friends and family while im in Iraq. But I think the people who update their status every 10 seconds to let people know when they're on the jon is pretty gay

The thing I like about facebook is that I can see pictures from friends from school, etc. of everyday shit. Stuff that isn't talked about in a 10 min phone convo. Pics of their kids, etc. A lot of my out of state relatives are on there too.
Other than that...I block all of the stupid application things. Farmville, mafiawars, etc. That shit annoys me.

I'm with you .saint, to a point. I do use it to keep up with friends (but I'm in the Army so..) but I don't update my status constantly with useless crap like "picking my daughter up from school". I have a few people on there who I've never met (but they're car people) and a few acquaintances from high school who I was never really close to in the first place. I'm about to go and delete a bunch of those ones. They tend to be the type that uses fb like twitter anyway and blow up my news feed with farmville and whatnot.

I admire Kotomile's new beard and ability to post in Arabic when I'm on FB.
