I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

Sean @ ESG wrote:You won't find The Premium Malts or Prime Time. If you do, lmk asap. But I'm confident you wont. Suntory sells it in Japan and serves it in Hawaii at Restaurant Suntory. Those are the only two places I've seen it, as far as I know. And Prime Time is made by Asahi, but sold in Japan only.
Interesting. I'll still search, but atleast I won't be totally disappointed when I reach complete failure.

Sapporo does make a Reserve Malts in the 22 oz. can. It is very good. If you can find it, I recommend it. I've only seen them at Marukai around here. I don't have a picture for reference.

Unfortunately I disagree with those ratings. Prime Time has a flavor different than any other malt I've tasted. It's very sweet, and leaves the same aftertaste. Not that usual, dirty mouth malt aftertaste. It is a bit watery, I think that's what makes it less malty than other malts. I'd give it at least a 3.5 across the board. and a 10 for can design.

Yeah, appears Asahi Beer USA, Inc. only imports the 3 products officially.

I should. I didn't find The Premium Malts listed under Suntory. The Premium Malts has won the Grand Gold Medal three years in a row at the World Selection, 05-07

Kuronama is Asahi's attempt at a darker lager. It's pretty good. I can only drink 2 or 3 before I get bored of the taste.

I dunno.
I think I'll drink some more of the beer Joel left at my house.
