I want one! What all is involved in the care of them? Do i need a big aquarium?

depends on type but typically a 20g long tank will do. They are very hardy and only need a hang on the back filter rated slightly higher than the size of the tank and low wattage fluorescent lights. then just coral rubble substrate and a couple pieces of live rock for them to build burrows under. i give you a whole write up on setup if you like.

in asia they love the l. maculata (zebra mantis) cause of it 16" full grown size make it into sushi, fried, steamed..everything lol

average price is $50 but can range to $150 some rare ones i've sold for $300
