i got the smallest plan u can do it costs me like $109 a month.

the new iphone 3g drops this friday and the 8gig iphone 3g drops to $99. http://www.apple.com
they have 16gig and 32gig now.

on a side note, the 3.0 update didnt drop till i was at work, just got home and im in the process of installing. so pumped!

lol i had an iphone for a week here in japan. the iphone in japan is HORRIBLE. japan primarily uses email and since the iphone 3g didnt originally have mms they used this push mail setup that took roughly 2 minutes to download any email you get. think of it like taking 2 minutes to get every SMS....ever. public wifi is basically nonexistant here. i think when i go back to the states i will buy one though, considering its the only phone with japanese preinstalled and that counts a lot for me. also, the battery life is horrible. i had the batter down to under 40% in under 3 hours :S. again, bad in japan, probably good everywhere else.

FYI iphone 3g is free in japan, 3gs is dirt cheap. the cheapest plan you can get would cost you about $80ish per month.
