the simplify media site goes into much more detail (obviously), but its a pretty cool app given the limited amount of space on these devices.
On a semi-related note, i also found a program that allows you to transfer your song ratings from iTunes to WMP or vice versa, the software allows you to do other things too (transfer album art, etc) but i have only been using it for song ratings. This allows you to create better smart playlists in iTunes (if you have been rating your songs in WMP and havent taken the time to do so in iTunes), or allows you to make better autoplaylists in WMP. I find it especially useful for WMP because when i have people over i tend to use media center, and having the ability to use a proper autoplaylist is just tits.
