I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

From what I’ve seen/done mechanically it will fit and run, all though it will not run the engine correctly.
I'm not sure what the difference is between the VTEC distributors and the non-VTEC distributors, but there is a difference... according to Honda.

the VX is over rated IMO. (I have a '92 VX) the lightness advantage of the VX is probably going to be destroyed anyway. Add a different set of rims and the VX will weigh the same as the CX/DX with the same mods. Add rear disk and upgraded front brakes and it's really close to what the SI weighs.... ...

Since the wiper switch is only powered in Run/Start (can't be a shorted wiper switch) it sounds like you have a wire shorted somewhere.
the blk/grn wire from the switch to the wiper motor would be my guess.

since it will set the check engine light due to no VTEC solinoid or oil pressure switch it will hurt your performance.
If you chip it it can be configured to run a DX, but it will end up being identical to your current P06. (you have a D15B7 engine that runs a P06 ECU)
