I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

Where do you get your nylon loom? Is there a "best place online"? Or is there a type of local place to check out?

well playing around with the car today i found out where i want to mount my battery.

since im not a huge audio guy and there is a good bit of room where the rear driver side 6x9 sits. im going to fab up a tray to mount it under the speaker cover. easy to access and out of site.

or i was going to make a mount under the dash below my passenger airbag delete.

 hopefully i can come up with some ideas and pick up a cheap bat.

Well I might take the under the pass seat route with the battery.

Thinking I opened a can of worms. Got my dash pretty much out. All the wiring harnesses are out of the bay. Got the fuse box stuck under my pass airbag tray. Started to unloom the wiring harnesses from the fusebox and holy crap what a mess I have. Haha.

I plan on tucking and relooming all of the inside harnesses as well. I'm just picky for a clean easy to work on car. The wiring I got myself into is deff going to take time. It's deff going to clean up the car and I got a good vision as to how this will look.

Wish I had a damn garage.

Hindsight, it's baller. Next time you do a major rebuild on the place, think about it.

multicolor wins!

some iphone pics from today. tons of work for me this year to try and get the car up and running for next season. i plan on welding the holes where u see the grommets and obviously painting the bay all 1 color.

i want to paint the car the same color as the first molding and then do the inside, bay and behind the front fenders a darker shade of the cocoa butter.
Image Image Image Image Image its an eyesore right now thats for sure, the flat blacked bay over the red was just a hold me over because i had plans of re-spraying the bay but i had a limited time in the garage to get my swap done so we just wanted to cover up the red as best as possible for the time being.

hopefully the motor will be sold towards a K20-r so im not to worried about the engine wiring harness right now. if not then i plan on picking up all new mounts and some other things to clean up the bay.

i have a s2k clutch mc waiting to go in once the spacer comes in, so that will clean up the driver side res's a bit.

That color would be sick as shit on your car. You do have lots of work ahead of you, but it will be worth it.
